What businesses here order
Louisiana's print demand follows its festivals, food and industry. New Orleans hosts conventions, carnival season and music festivals, Baton Rouge adds state government, a large university and petrochemical plants, and Lafayette and Lake Charles add oil and gas services. Buyers order canopy tents and banners for festivals, trade-show kits for energy shows and signs for restaurants and storefronts.
Festival and carnival season
From carnival season through spring music and food festivals, vendors, sponsors and krewes order canopy tents, table covers, feather flags, vinyl banners and step-and-repeat backdrops. Restaurants order window decals and A-frame signs for the crowds. Heat, humidity and sudden rain call for laminated banners and weight bags.
Energy, ports and storm season
Oil and gas, chemical and port companies exhibit at industry shows and hold safety and hiring events, ordering fabric back walls, banner stands and aluminum signs. Hurricane season is a real concern for outdoor print, so take banners, flags and tents down before a storm and choose mesh for fences.
