Custom Table Covers

A custom table cover is a printed polyester cloth that drapes or fits over a folding table so a plain rental table becomes part of your booth. Trade show exhibitors, schools, churches, nonprofits and sales teams use them at expos, job fairs, farmers markets and registration desks. Tell us the table size, the style (throw, fitted, stretch or runner) and send your logo or artwork, and you receive a quote with a digital proof at final size before printing.

Choosing a table cover for your booth

Table covers are printed by dye sublimation: the artwork is printed onto transfer paper, then pressed into polyester fabric under heat, where the ink turns to gas and bonds with the fibres. The colour is inside the cloth rather than on top of it, which is why the cover can be folded, washed and ironed without the print cracking. The panels are cut and sewn to the chosen style, with hemmed edges.

Start with the table: most rental and folding tables are 6 ft (72 x 30 in top, 30 in high) or 8 ft (96 x 30 in), with 4 ft tables at 48 x 24 in. A throw cover is the forgiving choice if the table size varies from event to event; a fitted cover looks sharpest on a table you always use; a stretch cover suits outdoor markets where a draped cloth would lift in the wind.

In use, lay the cover with the logo panel facing the aisle and the hem just off the floor. Put a retractable banner stand beside the table and a backdrop behind it and the booth is complete. Between events, fold the cover with the print inside, or roll it around a tube to avoid creases; a short press on low heat or a steamer removes fold marks.

Dye-sublimated polyester is machine washable on a cool cycle and dries quickly, so a cover used at weekly markets stays presentable through a season. Keep it away from bleach and high heat. Because each panel is proofed at final size before printing, the logo lands where it should on the front panel and nothing wraps around a corner by accident.

Options for custom table covers

Throw cover, 3 or 4 sided

A flat cloth that drapes to the floor. The 4-sided version covers all round; the 3-sided version leaves the back open so staff can sit with their legs under the table and keep boxes underneath. Both fold flat for travel.

Fitted cover

Sewn to the table's shape with squared corners, so the top stays flat and the sides hang straight with no bunching. It gives the cleanest look for a logo on the front panel and needs the exact table size.

Stretch cover

A spandex-blend cover that pulls tight over the table and hooks under the feet with sewn pockets. It shows the table's shape, does not move in a breeze and suits an all-over print.

Table runner

A printed strip that lies over a plain cloth you already have, with your logo in the centre and the ends hanging over the front. It is the lightest way to brand a table and travels in a folder.

How ordering works: quote, digital proof, print, then delivery to the USA or Canada. Nothing prints until you approve the proof.

FAQ

Custom Table Covers: questions answered

Still unsure? Ask a printing specialist.

What size table cover do I need for a 6 ft table?
A 6 ft folding table is 72 in long, 30 in deep and 30 in high. A 4-sided throw cover for it is about 132 x 90 in laid flat so it reaches the floor all round; fitted and stretch covers are made to those table dimensions. Give us the table size and the style and we cut the cover to match.
Should I choose a 3-sided or 4-sided throw?
4-sided when the table is seen from all round or you want to hide nothing. 3-sided when staff sit behind the table and keep stock, bags or a power bar underneath, because the open back gives legroom and access.
Can a printed table cover be washed?
Yes. Dye-sublimated polyester goes in a washing machine on a cool, gentle cycle and air dries or tumbles on low. Do not bleach it and iron on low if needed; the print is in the fibre, so it does not peel or crack.
What is the difference between fitted, stretch and throw covers?
A throw drapes loosely over the table; a fitted cover is sewn to the table's shape with square corners; a stretch cover is a spandex blend that pulls taut and hooks under the feet. Throw is the most forgiving of table size, fitted is the neatest, stretch is the most wind-proof.
Can I print a full design, or only a logo?
Either. Dye sublimation prints every panel edge to edge, so a solid brand colour with a logo on the front, a pattern all over or a photo across the front are all possible. The proof at final size shows each panel laid flat so you can check what lands on the top and the sides.
