Custom Canopy Tents

A custom canopy tent is a pop-up event tent with the top printed in your colours and logo on the four peaks and the four valances, on a folding frame that two people raise in a few minutes. Vendors at markets and festivals, sports clubs, car dealers, real estate teams, schools and outdoor brands use them wherever they need shade and a visible brand. Tell us the size, the frame you want, whether you need walls, and send your artwork, and you receive a quote with a digital proof at final size before printing.

How a printed canopy tent is made and set up

The canopy top is cut from 600D polyester, a woven fabric graded by the thickness of its thread, and the four peak panels and four valances are printed by dye sublimation before they are sewn together. The ink is pressed into the fibre under heat, so the print survives sun, folding and rain. The top has a water-resistant coating, sewn-in sleeves for the frame corners and hook-and-loop strips for the walls.

A 10 x 10 ft tent covers one 6 ft table with room to stand behind it and is the size most markets and expos allow per booth. A 10 x 15 ft tent takes two tables; 10 x 20 ft makes a team shelter or a registration area. Choose aluminum if the tent travels every weekend, steel if it stays at one site. Keep the valance artwork to a logo and a few words, because the valance is only about 10 in tall.

Two people raise the frame by holding opposite corners and walking backwards until the scissor arms open, then lift each leg to the first stop. The top goes on before the legs are fully extended. On pavement, hang a weight bag on each leg; on grass, drive the stakes and tie the guy ropes. Walls clip on last. Taking it down reverses the steps and the whole kit rolls away in the wheeled bag.

A canopy tent is a seasonal piece of kit that comes out for years of markets and tournaments if it is packed dry. Let the top dry before rolling it, brush off grit so it does not abrade the print, and store the frame with the legs retracted. If a panel is damaged, a replacement top is printed from the same proof at final size without buying a new frame.

Options for custom canopy tents

Frame

An aluminum frame is lighter to carry and does not rust; a steel frame is heavier and lower in cost. Both fold to a compact bundle with the legs telescoping. Ask for the leg profile and wall thickness and the quote states them.

Printed panels

Print all four peaks and four valances for a tent seen from every side, or print the two valances that face the crowd and leave the rest in a solid colour. Each printed panel is proofed at its own final size.

Sidewalls and back wall

A full back wall gives a printed background and keeps wind off the table; half walls close the sides at waist height; full walls with a zip door turn the tent into a small room. Each wall is printed or plain and attaches with hook-and-loop strips.

Weights and stakes

A canopy on grass is pegged with stakes and guy ropes; on pavement it needs weight bags or sand bags on each leg. Ask for them with the tent so the kit is complete at the first event.

How ordering works: quote, digital proof, print, then delivery to the USA or Canada. Nothing prints until you approve the proof.

FAQ

Custom Canopy Tents: questions answered

Still unsure? Ask a printing specialist.

What size canopy tent should I get?
10 x 10 ft is the standard booth size at markets, expos and tournaments and covers one 6 ft table with space behind it. Go to 10 x 15 ft for two tables and 10 x 20 ft for a team shelter. Check the booth size your event allows before choosing.
Aluminum or steel frame?
Aluminum is lighter to carry and does not rust, so it suits a tent that travels every weekend. Steel is heavier, lower in cost and holds steady at a fixed site. Both are pop-up frames with telescoping legs, and the quote states the profile and thickness of the one you choose.
Can I print just the canopy top for a frame I already own?
Yes, if the frame is a standard 10 x 10 ft pop-up. Send the frame make or a photo and the peak height, and the top is cut, printed and sewn to fit, with sleeves at the corners. Non-standard frames need measurements first.
Is a custom canopy tent waterproof?
The polyester top has a water-resistant coating that sheds a shower, and the peaks are shaped so water runs off. It is a shade and event tent, not a storm shelter: in heavy rain or wind, lower the legs, add weights and take the walls off to reduce the load on the frame.
Can I add walls to the tent?
Yes. A full back wall, half walls on the sides or a full set with a zip door attach with hook-and-loop strips. Each wall can be printed, plain in a brand colour or a clear window panel. Add them to the quote with the tent or order them later for the same frame.
