Custom Printing in Calgary, AB

Energy conferences and industry shows

Calgary is the head office city for much of Canada's oil and gas sector, and it hosts energy, technology and agriculture conferences and trade shows. Exhibitors order tension fabric back walls, retractable banner stands, fitted table covers and counter wraps, and organisers order media walls and podium wraps for keynotes. Many companies exhibit in Edmonton and Houston as well, so they prefer frames that pack into hard cases. Send your booth size and the show's rules, and a printing specialist confirms what fits.

July stampede season and summer events

Every July a ten-day western exhibition and rodeo takes over the city, and businesses across Calgary host pancake breakfasts, barbecues and client parties. Companies order vinyl banners, canopy tents, table covers, feather flags and step-and-repeat backdrops for these events, and bars and restaurants order window decals and A-frame signs for the season. Summer also brings folk and food festivals and community events in the parks. Order with enough time for proof approval and delivery before the busy season starts.

Chinooks, cold snaps and job sites

Calgary weather swings fast: chinook winds can bring warm gusts in winter, and cold snaps follow. Contractors building new communities on the city's edges order mesh banners for fences and aluminum signs for site boards, and builders order feather flags and banners for show homes. Real estate agents order yard signs and open-house signs. For pieces that stay out through winter, choose heavier materials with reinforced hems, and use heavy bases for flags.
